HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Participants must arrange their own lodging. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Old Town Albuquerque, (1-800-325-3535) at a special rate of $75.35 Single/Double Occupancy including all state and local taxes.

Rooms have also been reserved at the Best Western Rio Grande, 1015 Rio Grande Blvd. NW (1-800-959-4726) within walking distance of the Sheraton. The room rate is $75.35 Single/Double Occupancy including taxes.

To receive these rates, call the hotels by September 3, 2004 and reference the LCAT conference.

Conference rates are available September 22 through 25.

DIRECTIONS/PARKING

From Sunport International Airport take I-25 North and exit west on I-40, then exit south onto Rio Grande Blvd. Turn left toward Old Town. The hotels will be visible on the right and left hand side on Rio Grande Blvd. The Best Western is on the right and the Sheraton on the left. FREE parking is available.

ACCOMMODATIONS
If you are in need of personal accommodations, e.g., sign language interpretation, etc., please mark your needs on the registration form. This conference is in compliance with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration Fee: $150

Registration fees include continental breakfasts, lunches, snacks and a reception on Thursday evening. Registrants will also receive an LCAT tote bag filled with materials and a complimentary bilingual DVD on tobacco produced by LCAT.

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION
On-line registration will receive an automatic confirmation receipt by e-mail. Mail in registration will be receive confirmation receipt within two weeks. Please bring a copy of the confirmation with you to the conference.

VISA or Master Card or Checks/Money Orders made out to National Latino Council on Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations/Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances (substitutions: If you pre-register and cannot attend, you may send someone in your place without charge).

PRE-CONFERENCE TRAININGS
Two free pre-conference training sessions will be held on Wednesday, September 22 at 1:00 pm. New Mexicans Concerned About Tobacco (NMCAT), a statewide advocacy coalition, will sponsor an advocacy training on working with Hispanic/Latino public officials, developing Hispanic/Latino spokespeople, and mobilizing Hispanic/Latino communities. Stop Tobacco On My People (STOMP), a statewide health disparities network, will sponsor a grant writing training for small organizations and agencies. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.

RECEPTION WITH LEGISLATORS AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS

A reception dinner will be held on Thursday September 23, 2004 at 6:00 pm at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Hispanic/Latino public officials, leaders and legislators will be present. Free tours of the Center and attendance to the Museum Gallery will be available. Please check whether you will need bus transportation to the reception on the registration form.

POST-CONFERENCE TRIP TO SANTA FE
A bus trip to Santa Fe on Saturday, September 25, 2004 will be available for participants. Buses will leave the Sheraton at 10:00 am and return at 6:00 pm. Participants will be dropped off at the Santa Fe plaza and can participate in a free walking tour. An additional $40.00 will be added to the baseline fee.
