The National Latino Council on Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention (LCAT) organized community forums on tobacco prevention in Latino communities in four states – New York, Virginia, Georgia and North Carolina – during the month of April. At these public forums community organizations, health department officials, elected officials and others came together to discuss the current tobacco related issues and challenges faced by Latinos.
