About LCAT

PROGRAMS

The heart of LCAT's mission is to prevent or eliminate tobacco use and reduce alcohol abuse in the Latino community, and we carry out that mission through research, programs, and policy analysis.

Currently, LCAT's feature study, Strengthening Hispanic/Latino Tobacco Prevention and Control Program, with the support of the Office on Smoking and Health of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, will offer Latinos and those in the healthcare community advice, research, and support of how to help others make health-conscious decisions.
